About Us
Our cottages are set within the beautiful setting of Dartmoor National Park a very quiet and rural location, with direct private access onto the moors. The cottages are on a family working farm, where you can cycle, walk and horse ride for miles in unspoilt country side. Bagtor Hayloft accommodates 4 guests with oil central heating, 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin room) luxury bathroom with walk in shower. Wi Fi is included with plenty of parking. No smoking or Pets, but we have ample stabling and grazing for you to bring your own horses (at cost). The property has a natural water supply from a spring.
Local pubs and award winning restaurant all within a 2 mile radius. Market towns of Newton Abbot and Totnes are accessible within 25 minutes by car. Also plenty of local leisure activities within easy reach including beautiful beaches and popular golf courses.

Particularly enjoyed being able to walk up the private track through the woods to Bagtor and onwards across the moor. Very warm and comfortable cottage and welcoming owners.

Very nice cottage a stones throw away from Haytor rocks on Dartmoor. Well equipped, cosy and comfortable with log burner, Wi Fi and lovely bathroom which includes a mirror you can play your music through! Lovely welcome pack of cream teas and wine from very friendly hosts, Carol & Russell. Good base to visit Dartmoor but also the English Riviera, Totnes, Plymouth and Dartmouth.

Bagtor Hayloft is a lovely cottage. It is finished to a high standard and is spotlessly clean.
Carol & Russell are very welcoming. The cream tea and bottle of wine awaiting us on arrival was a nice touch.
We throughly enjoyed our stay, with walks from the cottage onto the moors.
